Booking Policies
This website is provided to you for the purpose of providing information about SleepOver, and to assist you in making a booking at one of our SleepOver sites.
Please ensure that you are familiar with our booking terms.
Terms and Conditions
1. Campaign Period
This promotion is valid for qualifying bookings made from 28 August 2026 to 28 September 2026.
2. Stay Period
The promotion is valid for stays that include a minimum of 2 consecutive nights during September 2026.
3. Participating Properties
The promotion is valid at participating SleepOver properties only and is subject to availability. Property facilities and breakfast service may vary by location.
4. Eligible Booking Channels
The promotion is available on direct bookings only, including bookings made directly through SleepOver’s Reservations team. Bookings made through third-party online travel agencies (OTAs) or other third-party booking channels do not qualify.
5. Best Available Rate (BAR)
Qualifying bookings will be made at the current Best Available Rate (BAR) applicable at the time of booking. No additional promotional room-rate discount will apply, except for applicable SleepOver loyalty discounts.
6. Complimentary Wake Up Breakfast
Qualifying guests will receive a complimentary Wake Up Breakfast for a maximum of 2 people per room, regardless of the number of guests occupying the room.
7. Breakfast Redemption
The complimentary breakfast will be available on the first morning of the qualifying stay. The breakfast benefit is limited to a maximum of 2 people per room and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or an alternative benefit.
8. Existing One-Night Bookings
Guests who have an existing 1-night booking may qualify by extending their booking to 2 or more consecutive nights, provided the extension is made during the campaign booking period and the booking otherwise meets all qualifying criteria.
9. Existing Two-Night-or-More Bookings
Bookings that were already confirmed for 2 or more nights before the campaign booking period do not qualify for the complimentary breakfast or the braai hamper competition.
10. Braai Hamper Competition
Every qualifying 2-night booking made during the campaign period will automatically be entered into the draw to win a R5,000 braai hamper.
11. One Entry per Qualifying Booking
Each qualifying booking will receive one entry into the braai hamper draw, regardless of the number of nights booked beyond the minimum 2-night requirement.
12. Room Types
The promotion applies to all eligible room configurations, including Family Rooms. Where a Family Room accommodates up to 4 guests, only a maximum of 2 guests per room will receive the complimentary Wake Up Breakfast. Additional guests may purchase breakfast at the applicable rate.
13. Non-Transferable Benefit
The complimentary breakfast and competition entry are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash, credit, or any other benefit.
14. Cancellation
If a qualifying booking is cancelled and no stay takes place, the guest will no longer qualify for the complimentary breakfast or competition entry.
15. No-Show Bookings
No-show bookings will not qualify for the complimentary breakfast or competition entry.
16. Changes to Bookings
Any booking amendments must continue to meet the qualifying criteria at the time of amendment. SleepOver reserves the right to determine whether an amended booking qualifies for the promotion.
17. Competition Winner
The winner of the R5,000 braai hamper will be selected by random draw from all qualifying entries. The winner will be announced on 1 October 2026 and contacted using the contact details provided at the time of booking.
18. General
SleepOver reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the promotion at its discretion, subject to applicable law.
19. Promotion Exclusions
The promotion is subject to availability and does not guarantee that rooms will be available at any particular BAR or on any specific date.
20. Acceptance of Terms
By making a qualifying booking, the guest acknowledges and accepts these terms and conditions.
- By making a booking, you warrant that you are over the age of 18, and that all information given by you to SleepOver is accurate, true, and correct.
- SleepOver accepts no liability for the accuracy and / or completeness of the information provided, and does not accept liability for any loss or damage which may arise therefrom.
- If you are using this site on behalf of any entity you represent, you warrant that you are authorised to accept these Terms on such entity’s behalf. If your entity has existing credit facilities with SleepOver, and such booking is made on these credit terms, SleepOver will accept the standard form of guarantee from the entity to secure the booking (e.g. voucher, order, or company letter from authorised personnel).
- ‘’Same day arrival (walk-in)’’ bookings can be made at the relevant SleepOver where payment can be made by credit card or cash at the relevant rate applicable inclusive of all taxes and levies.
- Published rates are valid for online bookings only.
- Rates are inclusive of the prescribed value added tax (VAT) and exclusive of tourism levy.
- Website rates are nett and non-commissionable.
- This booking is for pre-arrival bookings, and is confirmed only when full payment by credit card is received.
- This site has an operational payment gateway and any credit card supplied will be charged immediately.
- You agree that the transaction constitutes an electronic transaction as defined in the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 2002 (as amended) and that a binding agreement has been concluded between SleepOver and you in terms of which you authorise SleepOver to deduct from, or to debit, the credit card with the amount owing for services rendered or to be rendered and that your written signature shall not be required for authorisation purposes.
- All successful transactions credited to the reservation number will be reflected on the guest’s tax invoice on departure.
- Cancellation and refund policies depend on your booking timeframe and rate plan, and are also related to the booking engine used to book your accommodation (if not done directly via this website).
- Please refer to your booking confirmation or contact us for more information.
- Rooms are configured in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and allocated as per company policy.
- The room occupancy may not exceed the number of guests booked, and each room may not exceed 4 guests.
- SleepOver reserves the right to allocate and charge for additional rooms on registration due to incorrect bookings made on the reservation.
- Signage detailing rules and information pertaining to a particular SleepOver unit is deemed to be incorporated into these terms by this reference.
- Smoking is not allowed in rooms or public toilets. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.
- The guest will be required to register on arrival to receive their room key, and accept the Terms and Conditions of Residence and liability for all damages arising from such related occupancy.
- Guests will be required to produce valid identification (ID card / book or passport) on check-in, of which a copy will be made.
- Check-in time is from 14:00, and check-out time is by 10:00.
- Earlier check-in and late check-out will be subject to room availability, and must be arranged directly with the unit concerned.
- All facilities are used by you and members of your party at your own risk.
- SleepOver does not warrant the safety of any person on any part of the premises, nor does it accept liability for any loss or damage suffered by guests.
- You agree to indemnify SleepOver against any claims arising out of your use of this site or the use of any of our facilities.
- Cleaning and security services may be provided to SleepOver by third party contractors, and accordingly guests indemnify SleepOver against any loss, damage, death, or injury caused by any act of omission of such third-party contractors.
- Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these terms, SleepOver's maximum liability:
a) For any loss or damage to property is limited to R500 per claim or series of claims arising from the same event in any one year.
b) For any injury or death is limited to R2 000 000 per claim or series of claims arising from the same event in any one year.
Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.
- By booking via our website, you agree that our terms are applicable to you and the parties you represent.
- These terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties, shall be governed by South African law, and you submit to the jurisdiction of the South African courts in respect thereof.
- No indulgence shall be, or be deemed to be, waiver of any of these terms, and no waiver of any breach shall operate as a waiver of any continuing of subsequent breach.
- SleepOver reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refer a dispute to alternative dispute resolutions forums, such as mediation or arbitration.
- Delay or failure to comply with or breach any of these terms and conditions, beyond the reasonable control of the party so failing, will not be deemed to be breach of these terms and conditions nor will it subject either party to any liability to the other.
